Terms & Conditions

1. AK Digital Solutions undertakes to guarantee the following against faulty material and workmanship:

A) Satellite received equipment and its installation for twelve months from the date of installation.

B)  UHF TV and VHF FM equipment and its installation for 12/36/60 months as indicated on the invoice from the date of installation.

C) Unless stated otherwise the stand guarantee is 12 months on all equipment and installations

2.  AK Digital Solutions cannot guarantee the quality of reception, as this is dependent on factors outside our control. However every effort will be made by us to ensure that reception obtained is as good as local factors allow at the time of installation

3.  The equipment is installed to cater for the transmitting station power levels at the time of installation. AK Digital Solutions cannot be held responsible for the change in power levels from transmitting stations.

4. AK Digital Solutions will install customers own equipment for costs advised and accepted by the customer. Customers own equipment is not covered by any AK Digital Solutions guarantee. Any faults directly attributed to customers own equipment after installation which could result in a further call back to the customer’s house will result in a chargeable service call. AK Digital Solutions will notify the customer of the additional charges that may be incurred.

5. Any equipment supplied and reinstalled by AK Digital Solutions in replacement under guarantee, will remain under warranty until the expiry of 12 months from the original invoice date.

6. The guarantee does not cover the following:

· Reception conditions changing due to circumstances beyond AK Digital Solutions control, i.e.: due to the proximity of cranes in the vicinity, the erection of large buildings, fluctuations of TV or FM transmitters, power cuts, gales and/or lightning strikes.

· MMovement or damage caused by gale force winds in excess of 50mph.

· Interference caused by amateur radio hams, citizen band radio, radar, electrical appliances or any other transmitting frequencies other than local UHF TV or VHF FM wavebands transmitted by the BBC or IBA.

· Any repair or alteration undertaken by the customer or persons without authorisation to do so by AK Digital Solutions.

·  Any re-tuning of equipment due to alteration of channel frequencies whether sound or picture or discontinued transmission of channel for any reason.

6. It is expected that the customer will accept the advice of the engineer to the suitability of the aerial and the correct positioning of the aerial.

7. AK Digital Solutions shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by or arising from fire, flood, burglary, or house breaking, act of God, riots, explosion, aircraft or things dropped there from, lightening or damage beyond the suppliers reasonable control, or acts of third parties whether criminal or otherwise. Installation faults will be rectified.

8.  This document should be produced in the event of any fault or claim. There may be a delay in taking the appropriate action if this document is not produced.

9. AK Digital Solutions is not responsible to obtain permission from the customer regarding the fixing brackets/screws etc to the building fabric. It is assumed that the customer has obtained the necessary permission from the landlord (if customer is a tenant) or that the customer is the owner of the building fabric that the antenna installation is being fixed to.

10. Whereas possible AK Digital Solutions engineers will minimise the amount of holes required to be drilled through the building fabric. In the unlikely event that property damage has occurred, the customer must notify AK Digital Solutions within a reasonable amount of time in writing to address shown above and acknowledgement obtained.

11. In the unlikely event of a complaint being made against AK Digital Solutions, the customer making the complaint must do so in writing to AK Digital Solutions address above as soon as possible. Upon receipt of the letter AK Digital Solutions will endeavour to resolve the matter within 10 (ten) days.

12. All faults reported under the warranty will be responded to within 7 days. A time for assessment of the fault will be arranged. Should no fault be found a call out charge of £40.00 will be charged.

These terms and conditions do not affect the purchaser’s statutory rights relating to faulty and miss-described goods or services
