Sky only produce one type of sky box now, unlike in the past we had Sky Standard TV, Sky Plus box & Sky Plus HD box. Depending on your contract certain aspect and features of the box are disabled, but these features can easily be enabled in the future from the sky head office by a simple download from the sky satellite.
